Bespoke multifunction mezzanine

An architectural project that makes the most of the space through clean, geometric lines, built entirely in super-matt white melamine. The mezzanine rests on a solid steel structure, concealed behind the cladding to keep the look completely pure. Access to the upper level is via an architectural staircase that doubles as storage: the steps themselves are containers, and the space beneath is used for full-height cupboards. A 4000K LED system, integrated into the underside of the mezzanine and beneath every riser, marks out the volumes with a neutral light. A light balustrade with vertical tie rods completes the upper level.
