What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on a visitor's device, either to make the site work properly or to gather information about how it is used. Alongside cookies there are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, which this site uses to remember the choice you make on this page.
Technical cookies (no consent required)
These are essential for the site to work and are set even without consent, as permitted by Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. On this site they remember your chosen language and your decision about analytics cookies. Without them the site would not work properly.
Third-party analytics cookies (consent required)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. These cookies are set only after you click "Accept" in the banner: until then no Google script is loaded and no data is sent. IP addresses are processed in anonymised form and we do not use the data for advertising profiling. If you refuse, the site keeps working exactly as before.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" at the bottom of any page: the banner will reappear and, if you withdraw consent, any analytics cookies already set will be deleted. Alternatively you can delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all offer this in their privacy sections). Google also provides an add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
External content and links
The Google Maps link on the Contact page opens the service in a new tab: from that point browsing is governed by Google's own notice, not by this page. External content is not embedded in our pages, so it sets no cookies unless you choose to visit it.
