This notice is provided pursuant to Arts. 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and explains how we process the personal data of visitors to this site and of anyone who contacts us through it.
Data controller

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply.
Data processed and purposes
1) Contact requests: when you fill in the form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), project type, and the content of your message, in order to reply and discuss possible work together. 2) Browsing data: the systems serving the site record, for technical and security reasons, data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. 3) Usage statistics: only if you give consent, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used. We carry out no individual profiling and no automated decision-making.
Legal basis
Contact requests are processed to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Browsing data and technical cookies rely on our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies and the related statistics rely solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Whether providing data is required
Providing the data marked as required in the form is necessary for us to reply: without it we cannot follow up on your enquiry. Providing a phone number is optional. Consent to analytics cookies is free, and refusing it does not limit your use of the site in any way.
Recipients and processors
Data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be processed, as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, by the providers running the site's technical services: the hosting provider, the service that delivers emails generated by the contact form and, where consent is given, Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics. Data may also be shared with professional advisers assisting us and with the competent authorities in the cases provided for by law.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some technical providers, including Google, may process data in the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Commission, together with supplementary security measures. You may request a copy of the safeguards in place by writing to the contacts above.
Retention period
Contact request data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, if an engagement follows, for the duration of the relationship and the subsequent ten years required by civil and tax law. Technical logs are kept for a limited period, normally no longer than twelve months. Statistical data collected through Google Analytics is kept for a maximum of fourteen months. Your cookie choice is stored for six months, after which you will be asked again.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights set out in Arts. 15-22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. Simply write to info@maggioniarredi.it. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the services used on the site. The version published on this page is always the one in force; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
